Meet Emily and Adam: a couple so laid back that you’d never guess that the temperature on their wedding day only reached about 20 degrees. Emily and Adam celebrated their marriage in downtown Carmel, Indianapolis, surrounded by their friends and family on a sunny, but freezing, March day.
Even with the cold weather, the entire day had a relaxed, feel-good vibe. The Ifferts got married and hosted their reception at Bash 828, and their simple, stunning decorations paired with the venue’s clean white interior (a photographer’s dream!) made a beautiful backdrop for this couple’s romantic day. Emily looked stunning in her strapless dress and beaded veil from Bridal Rack Indy, and her bridesmaids’ taupe dresses and the just-a-little boho florals created a totally timeless look.
We slipped out just before Emily and Adam’s ceremony to shoot a few photos at The Palladium in Carmel. The art center’s massive pillars created a gorgeous big city look! Don’t be afraid to sneak away for a few minutes to capture a second backdrop—they may end up being some of your favorites.
It was an absolute joy to work with Adam and Emily! Their love for each other and genuine joy are so clear, and I loved this day and celebrating this couple.
